Florida Statutes § 400.0083

“Interference; retaliation; penalties under the public health law”

It is unlawful for any person, long-term care facility, or any other entity to interfere with a long-term care ombudsman in the performance of his duties. A violation of this statute is liable for damages and is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree.
