“Citizen access to State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program services under the public health law”

The Office of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman must establish a statewide toll-free telephone number for receiving complaints concerning matters adversely affecting the health, safety, welfare, or rights of residents. Each resident or representative of a resident must receive information regarding the State Long-Term Care Program upon admission to a long-term care facility.
