“Retention of family practice residents under the public health law”
A family practice teaching hospital must have a written plan to retain family practice residents in Florida. The Agency for Health Care Administration must establish a family practice physician retention advisory committee, which must develop a program for recruiting minority physicians into family practice residency programs and promote efforts to retain and place minority physicians into local communities.
