“General performance outcomes for the child and adolescent mental health treatment and support system under the Comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Act”

The Department of Children and Family Services’ programs providing mental health treatment and support systems to children must achieve the following performance outcomes:

  • Improvement of the child’s emotional condition or behavior;
  • Improvement of the child’s relationship with his or her family;
  • Improvement of the child’s behavior in school; and
  • Improvement of the child’s interactions with his or her community.

The Department of Children and Family Services must annually develop more specific performance outcomes and performance measures to assess the mental health treatment and support systems provided to children.
