“Breast cancer early detection and treatment referral program under the public health law”

The Department of Health must establish a breast cancer early detection and treatment referral program to promote referrals for the screening, detection, and treatment of breast cancer among medically unserved or underserved populations. Medically unserved or underserved populations means women who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level for individuals, without health insurance that covers breast cancer screenings, and 19 to 64 years of age.
