“Itemized patient bill under the Agency for Health Care Administration regulations”
Within 7 days following discharge or release from a hospital, the hospital must provide an itemized bill to a patient or to the patient’s survivor or legal guardian upon request. The itemized bill must be written in language comprehensible to an ordinary person.
