Emergency reporting
Authorizes a state health official to order emergency reporting of disease information if they have probable cause to believe that a threat to public health exists. Authorizes the official to establish reporting requirements regarding the persons obligated to report, the information to be reported, and the form of the report. Limits the duration of the emergency reporting order to 90 days, but permits an extension via the emergency rule-making process.
