Electronic claims submission process; electronic fund transfers – Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 5164.46

By January 1, 2013, each Medicaid provider must use an electronic claims submission process to submit to the department of job and family services claims for Medicaid reimbursement for services provided to Medicaid recipients.  This requirement does not apply to nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded, or Medicaid managed care organizations under contract with the department.
