Del. Code Ann. tit. 16, § 1205 - Conditions for disclosure to others of genetic information

Genetic information must be kept confidential and may be disclosed only for limited purposes listed in this section. Among them are disclosure after the tested individual has authorized it, disclosure that is necessary for criminal investigation, disclosure necessary to determine paternity, disclosure mandated by court order, disclosure mandated by federal or state newborn screening requirements and disclosure made by an insurer to an insurance regulatory authority.
