The Maryland program is known as Maryland Medicaid, Maryland Medical Assistance Program or HealthChoice.  It is administered by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Their website can be found here.  As of June 1, 2018, there were 1,302,048 individuals enrolled in the Maryland Medicaid program.1

The State-Designated HIE in Maryland is known as the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP): http://crisphealth.org/ .  CRISP has also been named Maryland’s Regional Extension Center for Health IT (REC) by the ONC.

Maryland operates an APCD known as the Maryland Health Care Commission Medical Care Data Base (MCDB). Their website can be found here.  The APCD is maintained by the Maryland Health Care Commission.
