Resource Use (Cost/Utilization) Measurement and Reporting in New Mexico

        New Mexico requires that all hospitals and facilities provide information about its finances and its impact on access to health care to the New Mexico Secretary of Children, Youth and Families.1  In addition, all insurers are required to maintain records pertaining to enrollment, claim costs, premium income, and utilization, and provide an annual report to the Superintendent of Insurance.2
