Health Insurance Exchanges in Florida

Florida prohibits health insurers that provide coverage through a federal or state health insurance exchange from providing coverage for abortions.1 Florida rejected establishing its own health insurance exchange but the Florida Health Choices Program2 and the Cover Florida Health Care Access Program3 are established to decrease the number of uninsured individuals.
