Supplying information on persons purchasing pistols or applying for concealed pistol licenses
The department of social and health services, mental health institutions, and other health care facilities must provide relevant information to a law enforcement agency or court that needs the information determine a person’s eligibility for possessing a pistol or concealed pistol.
Mental health information disclosed pursuant to a weapons license application is not subject to inspection by the public.
