Diagnosis of sexually transmitted diseases — Confirmation — Anonymous prevalence reports
A laboratory test or exam, conducted pursuant to procedures approved by the state board of health, must be used to confirm all diagnoses of sexually transmitted diseases. Laboratories that conduct anonymous HIV testing must report the prevalence of HIV to the department of health.
