Ambulatory surgical facilities — Submission of data related to the quality of patient care

Ambulatory care facilities must submit quality data to the department of health every eighteen months. The department must use the data to evaluate the quality of care provided by the reporting facilities and must investigate any facility that they deem poses a risk to patient safety.   Quality data submitted to the department pursuant to this section is not subject to disclosure under Washington’s Public Records Act.
