Security of Records
Requires mental health and substance abuse programs to create written policies for storing, compiling, accessing, and disposing of client records. Requires programs to maintain records for the longer of seven years following closure or the end of an investigation or proceeding in which the records are relevant. Requires programs to confidentiality and securely maintain records and client data.
