Revised Statutes of the State of New Hampshire §317-A:17

“Professional misconduct under the occupations and professions law”

Dentists or dental hygienists may be disciplined for misconduct which includes:

  • Having a physical or mental impairment which is dangerous to public health or interferes with the practice of dentistry or dental hygiene;
  • Ignorance, incompetence, or negligence in the practice of dentistry or dental hygiene; or
  • Intentionally injuring a patient.
