“Procedure as to undefined unfair acts and practices under the insurance law”
If the insurance commissioner believes that an insurer violated the law, the commissioner must issue and serve upon the insurer a statement of charges and notice of a hearing. If, after the hearing, the commissioner determines that the insurer that violate the law, the commissioner may issue a cease and desist order to prohibit the insurer from engaging in such acts or practices.
