“Reporting requirements; waiver; exceptions”
Medical practitioners, heath care facilities, and pharmacies that dispense controlled substances must report each controlled substance dispersal to the Arizona state board of pharmacy. These reports must identify the person that received the prescription, the practitioner that wrote the prescription, and the prescribed controlled substance. Practitioners, facilities, and pharmacies may transmit the reports electronically.
