Records to be kept confidential
 
Classifies records and reports regarding persons involuntarily hospitalized for mental health treatment as confidential. Permits disclosure only if it occurs with the patient’s consent, is necessary to comply with Wyoming’s law regarding the hospitalization of mentally ill persons, or is ordered by a court. Permits the exchange of patient records, without patient consent, between mental health facilities and hospitals for treatment, admission, and transfer purposes.
