Records - 28 Pa. Code § 113.23

Hospital pharmacies must maintain the following:

  •         A record of all drug transactions, correlated with other hospital records;
  •         Special records as required;
  •         A system of records and bookkeeping in accordance with the policies of the hospital;
  •         Records for drugs dispensed from the pharmacy, maintained in the pharmacy;
  •         Records of drugs administered to patients, maintained in the patient’s medical record;
  •         Copies of records of all adverse drug reactions and sensitivities maintained as required by law, for at least two years.
