Record of Refills
Requires pharmacists, upon filling a prescription, to document the date it was filled, the quantity, and their initials. Permits pharmacists to contact the prescribing physician if there are no refills authorized or left on a prescription order. Requires pharmacists that obtain authorization from the prescribing physician to document the name of the prescribing physician and the number of authorized refills.
