Record keeping
Establishes standards for the keeping of dental records that address record content, retention, correction, and confidentiality. Requires dentists that use electronic records to keep a hard copy duplicate or use unalterable electronic records. Requires dentists to allow patients to access their own records or request a transfer. Permits dentists to charge a fee for producing copies of records.
