“Record keeping”
Licensed Arizona dentists must maintain drug and device purchase records and dispensing records for at least 3 years after the date of purchase or dispense. Dentists must document dispensed drugs or devices in patient records. Dentists that dispense controlled substances must comply with inventory and invoice requirements (e.g., annually perform inventory on March 1st, maintain controlled substances invoices for 3 years, etc.).
