Record keeping and reporting requirements
Requires pharmacists that administer influenza immunizations to maintain immunization records for at least five years. Specifies the information that pharmacists must document in these records (e.g., the patient’s name and contact information, vaccine information, name of the patient’s provider, etc.). Requires the pharmacist to notify the patient’s provider of the immunization within 14 days of its administration. Authorizes the Board of Pharmacy to inspect immunization records.
