“Quality of treatment”
Agencies that provide mental health services to persons—either voluntary or court-ordered—must develop a treatment plan for each person and maintain clinical records that include all evaluations and treatments provided to the person. Agencies must allow a patient’s guardian to access the treatment plan. Agencies that provide care on an inpatient basis must work with a community treatment agency to develop a plan for the person’s post release care.
