Patients Rights and Responsibilities
Requires hospices to provide patients and their family with a copy of the facility’s patient bill of rights and to document that they have provided patients with this copy. Identifies patient rights as including the right to the confidentiality of their records, to participate in planning their care, and to express grievances without retribution.
