“Patient records”

Licensed homeopathic physicians must maintain patient medical records for at least 7 years after the last date of services if the patient is over the age of 18. Such physicians must maintain medical records for children for the earlier date of either 3 years following the child’s 18th birthday or 7 years following the last date of services. If a patient dies before the end of the requisite maintenance period, then the homeopathic physician must maintain records for at least 3 years following the death.
