Department to collect and maintain information and make summary of information available to certain persons; information to be aggregated
The Department of Health and Human Services must maintain and collect all information received from hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers. If requested the Department must make summary information available to:
- Health care consumers;
- Health care providers;
- Representatives of the health insurance industry;
- The general public.
The Department must ensure that the data is aggregated and cannot identify an individual patient.
