“Prohibited discrimination in rules for eligibility under the insurance department regulations”
A health carrier offering group health plans must not establish eligibility rules that discriminates based on a person’s health status, medical condition, claims experience, receipt of health care, medical history, genetic information, disability, or evidence of insurability including conditions arising out of acts of domestic violence or participation in risky activities.
