Mass. Gen. Laws. Ann. ch. 111, § 110B - Reyes syndrome treatment or examination; reports

A physician, physician assistant, a nurse or other person who examines or treats a child with Reyes syndrome must report the examination or treatment to the Department of Public Health.  The Department must maintain a complete record of all of the submitted reports.  The reports must remain confidential and can only be released by written request of the subject of the report or his legal representative.  The Department can also release the reports to researchers but they must be de-identified.  Violation of the statute is subject to a fine not more than $100.
