“Records of reports of dangerous diseases; notice”
 
Every board of health shall keep a record of all reports received pursuant to diseases dangerous to the public health as prescribed by the department. The board of health shall appoint a person to give notice to the department of any person infected with a disease dangerous to the public health. Any person, having accepted such appointment, who willfully refuses or willfully neglects or through gross negligence fails to give such notices shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars.
