Confidential information and communications; exceptions

This provision is contained in section governing licensing of substance abuse counselors; provides that information may not be disclosed unless required by other state laws, if failure to disclose would present a clear and present danger to the  individual, in a proceeding arising from the therapy such as a disciplinary action, or in a criminal trial where failure to disclose would violate defendant’s due process rights.
