Kan. Stat. Ann. § 65-1695, Continuous quality improvement program

Requires pharmacies to establish a continuous quality improvement (CQI) program. Classifies CQI reports, findings, and other records as confidential and privileged peer review documents. Prohibits subpoena, discovery, or admission into evidence of such information unless these actions occur during a board of pharmacy administrative proceeding. Prohibits persons who attend a CQI meeting from being compelled to testify in a judicial or administrative proceeding unless their testimony is sought during a board of pharmacy administrative proceeding. Authorizes the board of pharmacy to inspect CQI records. Requires the board of pharmacy to hold a closed session when considering confidential and privileged information during an administrative proceeding.
