Requires laboratories to report infectious and contagious diseases to the Secretary of Health and Environment via an automated, secure electronic reporting system or another method approved by the Secretary. Requires laboratories to submit positive cultures, clinical specimens, nucleic acids, or other materials to the Office of Laboratory Services if a specimen tests positive for a specified microorganism (e.g., salmonella, listeria, tuberculosis, etc.).
