Investigation of reportable diseases.
Requires health care providers and clinical laboratories to assist in public health investigations. Such assistance includes providing the Department of Public Health or local health officials access to medical records and other relevant health information. Grants the Department authority to issue subpoenas as part of their investigations. Provides a process for challenging a Department subpoena.
