Governing Body
Requires rehabilitation hospitals to establish a governing body to manage the facility. Requires the governing body to appoint an administrator to serve as the facility’s executive officer. Tasks the administrator with regularly keeping the governing body appraised of the facility’s operations and reporting unusual accidents and deaths to appropriate state or federal authorities. Requires the governing body to establish a quality assessment and performance improvement plan.
