Genetic Information, Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 35-32-103

Genetic Information 
 
Permits individual’s or their authorized representative to access, correct, and obtain the individual’s genetic information. Requires persons that conduct genetic analysis to honor an individual’s request to have that individual’s genetic information destroyed. Prohibits the destruction of information if it was collected for a purpose the individual consented to in the informed consent form or for a purpose identified in Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 35-32-102(b) (e.g., for law enforcement purposes, paternity determinations, etc.). Clarifies that the information collected for § 35-32-102(b) purposes may only be used for those purposes and must be destroyed or given to the individual when those purposes are completed.
