Exchange of Patient Information under Title 25
Authorizes the exchange of an individual’s protected health information among healthcare providers, the county attorney, and the court when the individual is declared mentally ill pursuant to §§ 25-10-109-110.1 (governing court ordered detention). Requires all PHI exchanges to occur in compliance with federal and state law.
