“Disclosure of limitations and conditions”

Arizona generally prohibits insurance institutions, insurance producers, or insurance support organizations (“insurers”) from disclosing an individual’s personal or privileged information unless the disclosure occurs in one of the exempted circumstances. These circumstances include disclosures with the individual’s authorization, disclosures to an insurance regulatory authority, and disclosures to health care providers that need the information to verify coverage.
