Information obtained in relation to the hearing screening program may not be disclosed by any person, employee or agent of such person to anyone other than parents or to the department for health for statistical recordkeeping and appropriate treatment referral and early intervention services.  Data obtained from the medical records of a patient is confidential, privileged and may not be publicly shared in a way that discloses the identity of a patient; anonymous statistical information will be considered public information.
