Confidentiality
Require the Health Care Data Committee (“Committee”) to establish procedures for protecting the confidentiality of patient information. Prohibits the disclosure of identifying information to data researchers, employers, or the public. Permits the Committee to execute data use agreements with researchers, data users, and employers in order to release non-published data. These agreements must ensure that patients are not identified.
