Confidentiality of information - Me. Rev. Stat. tit. 24, § 2510

Any reports or information received by the Board of Medicine regarding the adverse actions of a provider must remain confidential, except for data developed by the Board that does not identify the physician or patient.  Information may be released in a disciplinary hearing, to governmental licensing agencies, pursuant to a court order, or for research and educational purposes.
