Confidentiality of information - 28 Pa. Code § 15.16

The director of a local health department must directly report to the department of health’s commissioner of local health whenever he becomes aware of a public health hazard or a communicable disease outbreak which has potential statewide significance or which requires the critical comment or assistance of the department.1  Local health departments must comply with all department regulations relating to the confidentiality of patient information.2
