Confidentiality of Information
 
Classifies records regarding reportable diseases and conditions as confidential and prohibits disclosure unless disclosure occurs pursuant to a specified exception or in accordance with another law. Identifies these exceptions as including disclosures of de-identified information for statistical purposes, disclosures with the written consent of the person with the disease or condition, and disclosures necessary to protect the life and health of a health worker. Clarifies that the Health Officer and their designees may always access medical records or other information about a person with a reportable disease or condition, regardless of whether this person consents, in order to investigate or confirm a diagnosis.
