Presenting HealthInfoLaw.org!

The George Washington University’s Hirsh Health Law and Policy Program is proud to announce a new online resource, Health Information and the Law (HealthInfoLaw.org).  This new website, developed with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, is an online guide to federal and state laws governing access, use, release, and publication of health information.  We intend the site to be of use to a variety of audiences and will continue to build the resource, adding depth to the research content as well as expert analyses of emerging legal issues that arise as health information is increasingly used to support provider performance measurement and improvement, public reporting, evidence-based research, and payment and delivery reform.
