A message to our users

Health Information & the Law is a unique resource that is used by thousands of people every month. Funding for this project from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation ended in 2016 and our pace of production is limited without dedicated resources. We want to keep the HealthInfoLaw.org website available to the public as well as update laws, add new comparative maps and other resources, and ensure comprehensive coverage of all states.
 
We have added a link on our home page where you may donate to support our work.
 
 
We are also seeking new partnerships and opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the areas of cross-sector information sharing between health care, public health, and social services and sharing across settings of care. Recent relevant projects include an analysis of the legal and policy challenges surrounding the disclosure of substance use treatment information in Pennsylvania and a comprehensive collection of tools and resources for PCOR researchers to facilitate access to data while protecting privacy.
