Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 26, § 3361 - Unprofessional conduct regarding occupational therapists under the professions and occupations law

“Unprofessional conduct under the professions and occupations law”

An occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant must not engage in unprofessional conduct, which includes:

  • Failure to keep written occupational therapy records;
  • Experimenting on a patient without first obtaining the patient’s full, informed and written consent;
  • Failure to comply with prevailing professional standards of care in the course of his practice; or
  • Sexually harassing or engaging in sexual conduct with a patient.
