Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 26, § 1842 - Unprofessional conduct of osteopathic physicians under the professions and occupations law

“Unprofessional conduct under the professions and occupations law”

An osteopathic physician must comply with the Office of Professional Regulation’s rules on professional conduct. Additionally, an osteopathic physician may be disciplined if the board finds that they:

  • Are unable to practice osteopathic medicine with reasonable skill and safety to patients;
  • Conduct experiments on a patient without first obtaining the patient’s full, informed and written consent; and
  • Fail to keep written medical records.
