Safeguarded Information
The Department of Health Services may not use or disclose any information regarding current or past participants in the Seniorcare program unless the disclosure is for the administration of the program, and the disclosure or use of protected information may only be made to legally qualified individuals who work for government entities outside the Department. When disclosing to people outside of the Department, the use of the information must be for specific program administration, and the government entity must have a legal obligation to maintain the confidentiality of the information.
